Adjustable vs Fixed Accelerator Pedal

Adjustable vs Fixed Accelerator Pedal
I have a 2002 F250 with adjustable pedals. The accelerator has developed and off idle dead spot. Can I replace the adjustable pedal with a fixed one? I have read a few posts on this, but the ones I've read don't include an "outcome" reply. Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the welcome and the reply. I looked at my pedal assembly; it doesn't appear to have a replaceable TPS.
