Thinking about lifting

I'm seriously thinking about getting a suspension lift for my Bronco. Thinking 6" but I sometimes tow my tractor, etc.

I see some on Ebay for $500 but then I need to order some more stuff which will add up. Was trying to use Bill Me Later on it BUT no...won't work for some reason.

Anyone know where would be a good place to get lift for a good reasonble price for all components? Or am I just wishing?

I had the same questions and was directed to Tuff Country, but warned not to use their shocks. Also steered away from blocks in the back. Change out the springs.

Rough Country? I'd stay away from block no matter what brand lift it is. Just my opinions. I'm working on getting a 2.5" lift from rough country, I started the thread just waiting to start and finish this side job before I order it.

I was thinking about 2.5" lift but I'm thinking going with a bigger tire. Stock height and 31s look retarded on a Bronco.

Stock height & 35s looks way cool. Also keeps the center of gravity way low.

35s barely work with 4 inches of lift and no fender mods.

I like the look of 33s with 3.5/ 4 inches of lift.

Remember the bigger the tire the more trouble you can get into (and the deeper into it!!!). And, the more trouble you can get into the better prepared you need to be to get out of it. I know it is just a rule I used on jeeps BUT I always drew the line at 33's for Jeeps unless I had axle mods and other"supporting pieces". I know Broncos are stronger... That said, What are the other mods and buil;d ups we should be looking at to ensure the "weakest link" is taken care of for 33's and 35's.
You know, the right lift for the tire size and what we should be changing or adding...

C'mon you guys that seem to know EVERYTHING....GREY, I am talking to you. And I say everything with respect and NOT disdain. You have been a tremendous help to me so far (feeling your ego grow bigger even from Vegas) lol.

Lets hear it guys.

Oh and why do I feel cramped in the driver seat of this DAMNED truck. Broncos always had tons of room, even when I was shopping them last month, But THIS one.....%^#%%$#$@^(* I am telling you the seat is bolted to close to the wheel.... or not sliding back far enough...or something.

How do I post pics to this thing and I will take a crap load of the Bronco AND of my project 1979 3/4 ton camper special chevy ( note-- no caps on the chevy...)
