Hey guys, I had asked about the ECT on the SGII awhile back. I don't remember who replied but it reads an average value from the PCM. If you watch it is usually 15-16 degrees cooler than the EOT. I have checked mine with a Laser thermometer pointed at the thermostat housing and it has been spot on each time I have checked. As to mounting I splurged on the over the mirror mount and it awesome! Thanks for the ECT tip being 15 lower. My fwt is not reading right at all. Says -40.

EOT works fine so I can subtract for coolant temp. I will check with laser therm too
