There are four lakes in the Hot Springs area. Lake Catherine, Lake Ouachita, Lake DeGray, and Lake Greeson. There are numerous campsites around these lakes and a lot of them will accommodate a large camper. The state park campsites are nice.
I saw tranny temps pushing 195F this weekend pulling my camper up some of the hills around rosebud. I'm thinking a 6.0 tranny cooler may be in my future.
How about when you see the insurance premium summary that list everything you have insured. We dropped the insurance on the Ranchero years ago since it hasn't moved in 10 years...but everything else is covered. Wonder how many you have to have to qualify for a fleet discount?
My insurance isn't too bad, or so I've always thought... the truck, camper and boat are the only ones with full coverage. Yearly premiums are $1560...of course now if I hear they are ridiculous I may start shopping around
Never filed a claim on any policy and never had a wreck(On record) Arkansas Farm Bureau is my current provider.
Well all I managed to do yesterday was getting the cooling system completely flushed out...before I was pulled off for something "more important". I wasn't planning on it, but considering my options I've decided to delete my EGR cooler while I've got it out. I just wanted to put a plate on the EGR cooler to keep the exhaust out of the cooler & more importantly my intake since I'm going to spend the better part of a day to clean it. Oh well, the truck hasn't exactly been EPA legal for awhile.

I hear that's a pretty common upgrade in the 7.3L world. Hopefully it will work out for you Joe...would hate for your 4R100 to boil over.

I'm not about to start lieing...the boss takes care of the money, I just make sure the policies cover everything that needs to be covered.

I'm sure there's some kind of story that's not fit for publishing on the net. We've got everything except the house with Shelter; and the house is with Nationwide. Between what one wants for premiums to match the other...we haven't been able to get everything with the same company. I will say this, for 11 years we never made a claim on the house....but the premiums keep going up. Then we claimed hail damage on the roof...they went down after that. Go figure. Shelter, well I've made two claims on the truck, one on the Exploder & scooter respectively. At no point has our premiums gone up....and they put $10k in the truck last spring after the jackwagons stole it.
Dam Site is know around here as where all the partying takes place... If you want a more quiet stay then JFK is probably the place. Just make sure to get a trout stamp on your license if you're gonna fish there. Maybe they have temporary ones?
Gonna hit the water again tomorrow and see what damage we can do .. wish us luck.. I think we are 0 for something like 3 trips now. well practically 0
Zack, did you get your project done?
I think I remember now crawling under mine that someone had unhooked the OTW cooler and hooked directly to the OTA. Hopefully I can find a 6.0 cooler on ebay and plumb it back in line with the cooler in the radiator.

The more I think about it, your right Joe. I remember my grandmother talking about how many times Cleburne County had to go over to that area of the lake. Since she lived over by Eden Isle...we almost always spent our time around Little Rock park. Many a summer was spent in that lake when I was a kid.

I wish, the delete won't be here until Monday (should have ordered it sooner). Add to that I've got a couple of "high priority" honey-dos that were just added this evening, so I'm not sure if I'll ever get to finish this project. And of course the boss is working tomorrow...so I'm on my own trying to get all of this done.

For the sake of discussion, do you know the part number? Might be able to come up with a new one for a reasonable price.
While I'm thinking about it, Clay at RiffRaff has pointed out the fuel filter deal he's got going this month (trying to upload the flyer, but having technical difficulties). If anyone is interested in taking him up on the fuel filter deal (applies to 7.3L, 6.0L and 6.4L powered trucks)...let me know. I'm fixing to make another order and the parts/filters can ride free with the stuff I'm ordering. Once the wife figures out where I'm spending money...Clay might be in a little bit of trouble.
(I'll post the flyer as soon as I can get everything straightened out)

Gentlemen, a friendly piece of advice when your working on your trucks. Especially those with allot of aluminum housing with allen screws in them. Turn off the AC/DC, Megadeath and Metallica on Pandora when your torquing things back together. And be sure you double check that your torquing to the right spec and/or measurement. Don't get your Ft/Ibs mixed up with your In/Ibs...bad things will happen; trust me....I just learned these little tidbits the hard way.
HAHA I know the feeling Zach. All the clutchs Ive done on semis, minus the last 2, Ive used an impact on everything. It wasnt my impact. When I used mine I got to snapping bolts left & right. 2 weeks ago I snapped a wheel stud with my impact. Since then Ive only been bumping on setting 2 & using my torque wrench.
I've gone and done it now, just as the last payment on the Pavement Princess hits the mail; the wife talks me into another car payment. I will say this is the newest/lowest mileage Ford Product to grace the homestead....31 miles on the odometer when it pulled into the driveway.
The wife needed a new ride for her daily commute (roughly 100 miles a day round trip)...it was a tie between one of these and a Fiesta; since both get roughly the same mileage according to what little reading/surfing I did. When I seen the Fiesta are built in Mexico and the Focus are built here in the states...Focus it is. We shall see if she gets the advertized 38 mpg on the highway.
