O2 sensor problem on 95 bronco

5 years ago my brother and i cut the OEM exhaust and manifolds off, installed aftermarket headers and drove it down to have duals and turbo mufflers put on. when my brother threw away the OEM manifolds away the O2 sensors and pigtails were still attached and since then my check engine light comes on due to no O2 sensors. is there a way i can get around having to buy new sensors and pigtails and welding nuts to the exhaust to install the O2 sensors? are there any wires i can tie together or something i can turn off in the computer to get this check engine light to stay off? thank you for any helpful advise is getting this problem fixed besides putting a piece of tape over the light or taking the bulb out, my brother has already offered those as remedies

We are all human and make mistakes. Over the years I have changed out every sensor except the MAP. By far, the best improvement was when I replaced the O2 with Motorcraft. The computer gets no information on the fuel/air ratio without the O2 thus drivability, fuel mileage, emissions, and engine life will suffer. Sounds like it is time for a 95 HEGO connector and installation in the "H" crossover of your exhaust. I believe the 95 had only one oxygen sensor like my 94 351.

I'll look up HEGO connector but i don't have an "H" crossover in my exhaust, the exhaust pipes are seperate all the way out.

I'm sure others will jump in soon for that issue. I know nothing about exhaust modifications.

yea man you need to get an o2 sensor on there asap. have an exhaust shop weld an o2 bung into the header collector area. and like mentioned buy motorcraft o2 sensor. if your missing the wiring that runs up to the harness you can probably get that from wreckingyard.
