Keypad Code early 2001 sport trac
I just removed my airbag and had a look at the PATS module for the factory keypad code but I came out empty handed. Here's what the module looks like but I was expecting to see a 5 digit code on it somewhere. Any advice on where I can actually find the code? Early 2001 Sport Trac. Thanks.

The PATS module is completely independent from the Central Security module and keypad code. You need to find the Central Security module and look for the 5-digit code there.
For a 2001 Sport Trac, the module is located behind the dash panel on the right hand side. Check the Stickies for further details.
