Must do each end of egr cooler cuz its going in the intake one way and to the exhaust manafold and turbo the other way

Might as well fix it if your going to take it far enough apart to install a Freeze Plug in EACH END of the Blown EGR Cooler

and if your going to pull it then Tig Weld the cooler

by the time you tear down to get the egr cooler out it would be crazy not to do the oil cooler too as thats the rreason for all this in the first place and your just about there a few more bolts is all

Hey to each there own I saw 1 guy run radiator stop leak in his truck LOL bet it made a mess

Ok need an opinion took a truck to a shop here in town apparently they deal with alot of the 6.0 trucks. multiple fleets. does 6400 seem like a good price for all of the bullet proof diesel kits with install?

Thats too high - even with an external BPD oil cooler (which I do not believe you need).

Well I'm the one from the https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-the-shop.html and I still took it to the dealer, even though I have CarMax warranty, and everything they replaced was OEM parts.

The only thing that wasn't on the list but I payed for out of pocket was a new EGR valve.

When I took the truck to my FMC, I let them know I had CarMax warranty and they honored the warranty.

X2 here as well

Flush the cooling system good and get a coolant filter going

once the cooling system is cleaned out OEM OIL COOLER is fine ITS RARE for them to fail with a manufactur Flaw the normal failure is the coolant half plugged in oil cooler

Most of these shops wont flush the cooling system multiple times like it needs

But at 6400.00 Im shure they tell you anything you want to hear
