Another thing while we're at it since you're tracking rust.
Pull put the door sills. 3 phillips screws. Mine sat for a good while like your. There was this black, acrid, goo under there. Thankfully it's only been wet since I got the truck, so the metal is still good. But, very easily to clean out for the amount of pain it could cause.
