Nice truck! I noticed the rust on the rear of the inside of the cab. Might be a good thing to check out/ replace the gasket around your rear slider. Still would love to buy one of those flaresides if I ever come across one.

Also check the seams along the roof for dry caulking around the seams where the roof meets the cab pillars. A comon problem, especially around the front windshield area.

Another thing while we're at it since you're tracking rust.

Pull put the door sills. 3 phillips screws. Mine sat for a good while like your. There was this black, acrid, goo under there. Thankfully it's only been wet since I got the truck, so the metal is still good. But, very easily to clean out for the amount of pain it could cause.

[quote=jhaas63;11899761]Here are some picture of the old Dart...

Memories, the first time I went over 100mph I was 11 yr old and in a Dart that same color, must have been a '67. The son of the owner of the gas station where I picked up the Evening Herald for afternoon delivery traded his early 60's Olds 442 for a brand new Dart with 383 (maybe a 318..long time ago) and 4 speed Hurst, all factory built. It was an outstanding car. He would take me to the far end of the route and drop me off just so he could leave work and burn some of the high octane leaded Mobil his dad sold.
