A guy across town from me has a Lightning, not sure of the year, that was severely front-ended. Nose is completely demolished-bad. However, the seats are there and are really nice. What do these usually fetch, being realistic. The guy knows what he has and somewhat of a know-it-all type grouch. I personally did not like him and his attitude, but I'm not out there looking to make friends. Long story short, he finally called me back to "make an appointment" to see the truck. Without getting a shotgun lowered between my eyes, what should I offer him? Thanks & pray for me!
Roger
The center fold down center console/seat goes for $400 all day long.
A COMPLETE lightning 40-20-40 with the seat pan is worth $1000.
YES, you read that right
Woah! Are you serious? If that is the case, I'll offer him 500.00 and see what happens...are these seats bolt-in for any single cab of this gen? I've heard the dash cluster is unique, too. Is that true? Again, the guy is an absolute *****, and I'm being nice here. But I DO have the keys to the kingdom, so I'll head over there with a wad of cash & see what happens..thanks for the heads-up...BTW, anything else-interior-wise-to look at?
Roger
Only difference is the speedometer goes to 120 but your truck only be able to go to 95 unless you have some sort of chip. And you have to have the right year cluster and the right year truck for it to even work.
I am sure he knows what the seats are worth, along with everything else that is lightning specific.
The upper/ lower intakes on those 1st gen lightnings go for a pretty penny too! Lower alone (gt40) will go for $400+ all day long... HARD to find a 5.8L GT40 lower these days.
