electronic help!!!!!

ok...i took th3 7.3 idi out and put a 94 idit in my truck... engine runs good.....now but while trying to figure out a running issue i screwed the soleniod up on the pump and had a runaway engine....before that the glow plugs worked, the tach worked, everything electronic worked....now the tach will only register about 500 rpms, the abs light comes on....and it is delayed about 15 seconds in doing that after the engine is running...the glow plugs wont work...i put a new glow plug controller and same...when i try to jump the controller i dont get an arc, i tryed grounding everything...i need help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee

you have a power wire going to ground somewhere....

Check your body to engine grounds the engine mounts wont ground,I put 6 ground straps on mine to ensure good contact, Spray battery wax on them all so they wont corrode.

got the tach working and the tranny shifting, now all i got is a non working glow plug system, and the abs light stays on... can anyone tell me the model number of the turbo so i can get a compressor wheel for it.... its a garrett, factory turbo for the idi's

Did ya check your fuseable links next to the passenger side battery.

I took one fuseable link out, I will check the others,tomorrow I have 12v to the GPS but can't get the plugs to heat even jumping across the GPS

If you have power to the controller (big yellow wires pole constant hot) Then key on you should have power to the red/Lt green small pole that one also signal the solenoid to the ip pump...That one sends the signal to the controller to warm up.

You might of lost the fuseable links on the glow plugs themselves,Or the controller.

If you get 12v to the plugs but no heat, im with Joe, at some point in whatever happened perchance the controller was on too long and burnt the plugs.

Ok...so somewhere in the mess of a harness after the glow plug controller there is a fuseable link?

Yes every one of the glow plug wires is a fuseable link.
