To my eyes, a regular cab long bed looks just as good as a regular cab short bed. I personally like the shorter wheelbase trucks as opposed to the SC or CC with a long bed. They just look too long for me.

But, I can see the utility of a SC or CC with a long bed for towing and hauling people around, and the utility of a short bed for off roading. To me, each looks the part.

I feel I have the perfect trucks for my use; a super crew with the ultra short bed for the family/friends and towing/bikes, and a regular cab with a long bed for hauling/wokring.

You are correct, they all have there place, depending on your use for a truck.

Long for me. If your truck is your DD or only vehicle, I kinda get the shortbed thing, but otherwise it seems a waste. I specifically bought the longbed for my latest one so I could put the bikes in the back and close the tailgate.

A CC longbed is a BEAST to drive, though. I grew up driving full-size trucks, SUVs, etc, but my dad's 01 F-350 CC longbed is the first big vehicle I simply loathe driving. It requires so much additional planning and effort to get into tight parking lots, so much so that there are certain errands you simply cannot use the truck for. I can't imagine throwing a dually on top of that. Oye.

As far as I'm concerned for my everyday use, hauling hay bales, loads of wood, lumber, piping, flat stock and such, the Long Bed suits my needs. I do like the looks of a jacked up regular cab short box truck though. I also like the looks of an f250 with a super cab and short bed. However, the Crew Cab Long Box might as well all be painted yellow, and have school district of _____ painted on the side.

Dually doesn't make it much worse, drove a slightly stretched CC Long Bed dually Centurion in Detroit for a friend (test drive).

Brad, yours doesn't count, it's 4x4 so it can out turn a F250 Standard Cab.

It won't look any different than an f250 or f350 with the same body configuration.
