I'm wanting to add an after market exhaust system from the turbo back on my 2007 F250 diesel. Is it worth getting a system with a cat delete and a muffler delete? Also am i going to gain anything by going with a 5inch over a 4 inch? Also if the cat is deleted will the engine throw codes? I'm not sure if this topic has been covered but i am new to forums and did not find anything regarding this issue.
There is no gain going to a 5in. It's all a matter of preference going with a cat and or muffler delete. I deleted both of mine and I'm happy with the sound. No check engine light will come on due to removal of cat/muffler. You'll have to keep the cat if your state tests diesels.

That's really the only stipulation here...
Unless you plan on making an insane amount of power, a 4 inch set of pipes will do.
MBRP makes an AWESOME kit that fits and sounds good. You can get it from most anybody, but have a little chat with Clay at Riffraff Diesel and he'll get you setup with whatever you need or desire.
Just fair warning, once you start, your wallet WILL get lighter. Just ask a few of us here
