Talking Looks improvement

I got tired of the crappy faded grey/white/tan showing on the front grill of my 2001. Pulled it off, sanded it down slightly, taped the chrome and removed the ford emblem, and rattle can painted it flat black. Looks good now. The most tedious part was taping the chrome.

Sorry about the glare

Closeup of the drivers' side

This was painted with flat black rattle can paint after masking with tape. Looks better than factory grey color (faded or not).

"closeup of the driver side" ..... do you have the steering wheel on the right side? Cool!

LOL. Looks good. Your headlights are amazingly clear for a 01.

I have the same problem. I was thinking about going with the 2005 grill conversion but after seeing your pics I might just spruce up my current grill until the big chunk of loose chrome decides to fall off.

Those headlights are cleaned up. You should have seen them before.
