Not until now!! I guess it's carma that neither one of us answered his question.

Brad... don't be shy... jus start your own threads. There is no difference between a rearend from the Gen1 Ligntning or any other F150 of that era. So you won't gain any strength by swapping the whole axle under there, but that is a relatively easy way to get more gearing. I believe the Ligntnings got 3.73 or 4.10 gears.
