Edge Evolution problems
Hi There people today is the first time I have posted on this forum after just looking for a long time All the way for downunder.
I'm hopping that some has had the same issue with this programmer and can help me out
I got this Edge evolution CTS programmer yesterday and tried to install it today I hooked it up as described in the directions, it asks me for the model of this truck, and then it has me enter the VIN number. After entering the VIN number, it gives this error:
Vehicle Communication Error - Error reading file IDS during VIN write.
I have tried 5 times with the same result
Has anybody had this before with the edge CTS <!-- / message -->

CTS problems
Hi
The truck is a 2003 7.3 auto, I have upgraded with a new unit form Edge from an old model edge Evolution which was about 5 years old.
I did put the truck back to standard before installing the CTS as the old unit was working fine I just wanted the gauges.
I did try and update the software but there was no update required.
