Edge Evolution used?????
hello everyone i was just wandering if anyone has purchased a used edge evo and if so did it work ok?? how do you know if its VIN locked?? guys please let me know before i make the move that way

well if the guy that had it before restored his truck to the original tune its fine. It will work on yours, but if he left the custom map on his truck and just took it off, then it will be locked to only his truck...
But heres where it can get gray.... edge can probably reset the tuner for you by giving you a password to enter when its pluged into a comptuer... reason i know this is that my dad unpluged my edge from his truck when i was putting his stock tune back on so that i could put the tuner on my truck... And it blanked out his truck and locked up my edge... so i had to have his truck reflashed by ford and enter a code into my edge that they gave me...
But they paid to have my dads truck towed to the nearest dealer ship, as well as the reflash... so MAD props to edge.. wasnt even there fault
