Im lookin at a 77' F-350 Supercab Camper Special that needs work. It's got a 460/c6. It needs a RH Cab corner, work along the bottom and edge of doors, theres a small hole on the drivers side floor and a, what looks like, a split along the outer edges of the floors (doesnt continue past the door pillar), drip rails on either side, drivers side battery tray work, and what looks like a hole beside the passenger side fender sheild support. It comes with all the trim. It also has an aftermarket dually kit on it w/ fenders. It has just over 64,000mi on it (not sure if it rolled over). guy wants $3,000 canadian. Would it be a major job repairin all this? I'm 15.
You can learn/develop the skills but do you have the tools, time, space, and money? Be honest with yourself.
Rotted roof rails are a pain in the you know what. Depending on how bad it is, ya might be able to patch it but in the end a few FTE'ers have resorted to grafting in a better donor roof or replacing the cab in its entirety.
