I was having a problem w/ my 79 Bronco. It would start up fine. Soon as it warmed up, and I turned it off, it wouldn't start back up untill it cooled down. I changed all the electrical components under the hood, and the ignition switch. I finely found a little relay box that was next to the starter solenoid. I changed that and it worked great for about a month. Last week it started doing it again. Does anyone know what part this is? And where I can get it. I got this one thru Checkers and I don't know if they gave me the right one. Also does anyone know why it would keep clicking off. Thanks for any help.

Everything you describe sounds like a dying ignition module but you should verify that by doing some voltage tests as I'm curious about your ignition switch.
The coil gets full battery voltage in START but a reduced voltage in RUN.
This should help you with expected voltages (I'm assuming a 1970's Duraspark II setup):
Like I said she runs great. It's just when I turn it off when hot, sometimes won't start. If I mess w/ that little relay (hope that's the name for it) It'll start back up. The relay sits right below the starter solenoid, it's a little over an inch long, and a half in wide. Has two terminals on it.
The first thing to come to mind isn't a relay but is a condenser, it's location makes me suspect it's hooked to the voltage regulator where it would remove alternator whine from the radio.
I can make a condenser in the shape of a triangle, don't just assume that it isn't something just because it doesn't seem like what you expect it to look like. And in any case, a condenser of the kind you mention would be cylindrical. Good luck finding the cause, I hope you do it soon.
Like Chris said. We really need a pic to see what you see. I can't picture in my head anything like you describe under the start relay.

It seems awkward, but whenever you "insert a picture" to one of these threads, the forum is looking for the picture somewhere on the web (which is always available) rather than from somewhere on your hard drive (which isn't always available).
