I agree and I agree with the other guy who said the second coat of epoxy is overkill. If anything, I'd do a second coat of the high build urethane oven any of your bodywork that was done after the last coat of high build urethane. BTW, that high build urethane was almost too thick to spray out of my primer gun.

Sherwin Williams makes a DTM cyanate free primer that you can mix with one of two different hardners. One makes it a sprayable high build primer, the other thickens it to a squeegieable surfacer putty. An interesting product, doesn't need an underprimer, can be used to touch up any sand thru, doesn't need an overcoat of primer to even the color, all with one product.

Some manufacturer's now recommend applying their high build primers with a foam roller rather than spraying it. Download the manufacturer's instruction sheet for the product for application information.
Keep up with your favorite manufacturer's new and reformulated products you may get a pleasant surprise!

one thing i didn't read was clean everything with wax and grease remover at every stage including before you start your first sanding. if you sand on a dirty panel all you do is grind that dirt grease and stuff into the metal and it will show up in the final product. as a amateur i like spraying bc cc the base sprays easy and you can sand out most problems that come up in clear.
