i have been wondering the same thing. seems like 5 flashes would be a better time than just 3. Might want to check in the manual but i dont think it could be changed
The three-flash feature (we have it on our car) takes a while to adapt to, but is a nice feature. What I can't figure out is why they changed the lever to activate the bright lights by pulling all the way back instead of pushing forewords like it's been forever...I consider that a step backwards. A couple of times I've flashed the brights to alert someone cutting me off and turned them on inadvertently.
I wonder if you can just plug in a wire connector from a trailer and it will think it is towing something and then give you the 5 flash signal all the time?

Thats what I was wondering...

maybe it's an XLT & up thing?
Personally, i think it's just another gimic ... but then again, i'm glad that other's have it. keeps those "one flasher's" a little more honest

I believe it was a feature added to the 2011's if I am not mistaken. Personally I wish it was 5 for normal turning and 7 for when towing. It would be nice to be able to set the number of turns from the nav screen!
