Welcome to FTE
What's wrong with it, worn upper and lower bearings (C3DZ-3517-A)? Available from Ford.
Is it an A/T and the shift collar (D5TZ-7228-A) has broken? Available from Ford.
Does it have a 3 M/T and the shift collar (D5TZ-7228-B) has broken? 100's available NOS, Wesley Obsolete Parts has 72.
If a 3 M/T, is the shift lever binding up between 1st & 2nd? You can fix it in 20 minutes or less with a C5TZ-7343-A Selector Lever Bushing Kit, Carpenter has 2,403.
T/S Switch defective? Over 500 C9TZ-13341-C available NOS, Carpenter has 388.
While some steering column parts interchange between 1965/77, the columns do not all interchange.
1965/66's will not fit properly, 1967/72's will, but M/T column different than A/T column, P/S column different than the M/S column. 1973/77's will not fit properly.
1971/72's have 2 spoke steering wheels and vinyl horn pads. 1967/70's have 3 spoke steering wheels with either a horn button or ring.
I guess Shane, the OP, should get first crack at the column if he wants it but I don't know if pick up would be reasonable for him or if he wants it.
I never drove the truck with that column in it but it appears to need both upper and lower bearings replaced. It has a Grant wheel on it that can go with it. Turn signal lever stays put in both directions but doesn't return, maybe because of the Grant wheel.
Anyway if Shane or you want to pick it up, how's $35?
