So my engine (presumably the waterpump, but I didnt chase it down specifically, however it was on the front of the motor) decided to puke about 1/2 quart of coolant while I was picking up breakfast between jobs this morning. Come back out to see a steady fast drip and a large puddle under my truck. I tried to find the source but couldnt in the parking lot. The whole axle and front steering was covered. I released the pressure in the bottle and started it up and it hasnt leaked a drop sense.
That would be my guess, but you really have to look it over. Clean it up, put the cap back on and let it idle till its warmed up. You should be able to tell then.

I put the cap on, and drove 80 miles (throughout the day). It puked around 9 am and didnt dip one drop from then till now.
Maybe a stuck thermostat in that instance. When's the last time you did a T-stat change??
about 10,000 miles ago. Replaced with OEM motocraft. Also replaced the housing, and it wasnt that. I did pop the hood and look around and verified that the TS was dry amongst other things.

Hum, guess that rules that out. While you do look for the cause depending on your mileage, I'd defintly consider a waterpump change like the guys mentioned. I changed mine out around 160,...ish because of slight fluid weeping from the weep hole.
