Will the console fit between the 2nd row bucket seats in a '12?

Yes and no.
For it to fit properly the bucket seat arm rests would need to be removed. The holes should be in the floor under the carpet. 07xpyebel has it easier as his will already have the mounting spots from the middle seat.

Matt, is right the armrest would cause a problem...because the console in the navigator would conflict with them, it's sits to high.

The 2nd-row split bench seat is an optional seating configuration for the Lincoln Navigator

Another option called ( console delete)allows you to delete the standard 2nd-row center console for easy pass-through access to the 3rd-row seats but no armrest like the Expeditions

My expy doesn't have armrest I have the so-called bench seat 2 outer captain and a 40% middle seat.

I need to get 2 console brackets for a proper install 2L7Z-78045B32-AA Front
2L7Z-78045B32-BA rear I have found them for another $90.00 w/ shipping

I might just install without brackets... if the console sits level on the floor

Matt, Have you done this mod before? Are the mounting spots from the middle seat the same?

I use the expy as a limo for transportation so I have to wait for the console to arrive before I can take the middle seat out.

More later

Sorry I haven't, although I have a pic of one done in an Expy.
Mine has the 2nd row buckets and I can't bring myself to remove the armrests, plus I really like the walk thru to the 3rd row. In fact the only time I ever really fold /flip the 2nd row seats is to vacuum or when I installed my Weathertech mats.

Not quite sure how it will work without the brackets. The brackets bolt onto the floor and the console bolts itself onto the brackets. Being the console's base is pretty narrow I'd imagine on any type of acceleration or braking that thing will be moving. Also if you don't already have the cut outs you'll have to slit the carpet to gain access to the right spots. My carpet was cut out but found the two rear floor mats (one underneath and one on top of the cutouts) makes is seem like the holes not really there unless you are paying attention. After 3 weeks of it out, I've found life to be much easier with the boys in terms of access in and around the cabin and in and out of the truck itself. That thing may just stay out for now till it's time to get ride of the truck all together...

Will the console stick up between the two bucket seats when they are folded down in Cargo Mode?

Console Install Pictures

Hey guys,
I just finished the installation of the navigator 2nd row console, into my 2007 XP
I didn't buy the brackets for another $120.00, so I just bought some 3/8 bolts and washers and installed the console over the passenger front floor (collateral damage)mat to cover-up the carpet holes from the 20% middle seat.

Take a look and let me know what you think
I will post some more 3 at a time I think is the limit.
