vin decodeing
I just picked up a 70 swb 4x2 and would like to know how it came from the factory. vin# f10ycg95072. warranty plate info. color?, 115l , model f103, body k 4, trans c, axle 17, max gvw 04500, cert net hp 170, 4100 rpm?, dso 22. thanks for your help.

G95072 = Consecutive Unit Number...Built Nov 1969
115" wheelbase
F103 = 4500 GVW (2WD)
If color is blank, that usually means it was a special order exterior color.
Body = K ... dunno...
4 = Black vinyl upholstery
Trans C = three-speed, light duty
Axle 17 = 3.25 Ford 9-inch
DSO 22 = District Sales Order ... Charlotte, NC
