v8 flathead question!!!

i have four engines, V8 flathead in my garage and i want to restaure just 1 engine but there's one different i will show you picture. (spaught) made me realize this weekend that where's the radiator is connected on the top of the head is not at the same place......the question is WHYYYYY HAHAHA





the thing is that i want to restaure 1 truck 100% original

pre-47 and 48-53 are fairly different styles. the later version is a better motor but if in a orignal vehichle from 32-47 i would suggest the earlier style despite certain improvements that you will be disregarding

What vehicle is the engine going into, how original do you want to be, and how much do you plan on spending to overhaul the engine?
