i have question about v8 flathead
i have four engines, V8 flathead in my garage and i want to restaure just 1 engine but there's one different i will show you picture. (spaught) made me realize this weekend that where's the radiator is connected on the top of the head is not at the same place......the question is WHYYYYY HAHAHA





the thing is that i want to restaure 1 truck 100% original

If you want to restore to original then the picture on top is the correct set up. '48 and later would use the one with the hoses on the front of the heads.

It appears sombody has put a 59 AB head on an 8BA block, how did they hold the distributor down.
