E4OD OD planet mod. for bushing ?

I have found mention of this mod

"suggestion by Sonnax for the installation of a non-factory bushing in the Center Shaft and machine of Overdrive Planet to allow additional support"

with a dead link to Sonnax's site. From what I gather the planet hub will be supported by this bushing for better stability.

Anyone know the details or what bushing to use ?

I have not heard of this mod to the overdrive planet, I have seen a steel sleeve fitted to the overdrive planet to help prevent stress cracks and stripped splines but only on the aluminum planet.

The best upgrade to this area is in replacing the aluminum planet with the steel four pinion planet. I do not see the need in adding support to the overdrive planet, its not a high failure spot once the steel planet came along.

Updating the center support to overdrive hub with the bearing style support is a must with this unit also.

I am definately doing the other updates to at least '95 level. I guess I won't be concerned with this mod. as it may be obselete. I will be running the steel OD planet(with new design roller clutch), 6 pinion steel forward (with thrust bearing update) and roller center support.

thanks for the input
