We recently purchased a 2000 F250, but the car lot we got it from didn't have the code for the keypad. Right now we can't use it at all. We would like to know the original code and learn how to change it.
I saw a couple of threads that had a long list of numbers that you pressed until the doors unlocked. Is that same string of numbers good for all Fords or just certain makes? If it's just certain makes, does anyone have the string of numbers for our truck?
There seems to be a lot of confusion about where the code can be found on the truck. I've seen under the dash, behind the seat and on the firewall. I think we'd rather not have to tear a lot of places apart to find it...
