figure this out???

No, you do not have to be in park to connect a phone!! I drive and do it all the time.

To set up the Primary phone, you have to be stopped though but not for the secondary phone when connecting! How strange??

To connect another phone you go to system settings on the menu, to the connect bluetooth, push okay, then use the radio seek controls to scroll to the phone you want to connect. Since i have 2 phones connected, I choose which one I want. And I can be driving down the highway at 100 (I don't drive that fast) and connect the second phone using that method.

Thing is ya can't do that while setting up the primary. So that is why it seems so strange for the message voice to say for my own safety this feature is not available...ie: connecting the primary while I am driving but I can drive and push the buttons and connect my other bluetooth phone. It is a contraction for sure. The safety engineers must have been on vacation that day.

If you have 2 phones give it a try and you will see what I mean.

Am I explaining it enough to make sense? If not I will do it in my truck and write down everything I do and post.
