It is a 70' Ford F100 Ranger XLT 2 wheel drive , 360 FE , 3-Speed on the Floor with a Hurst Indy shifter , 9" Rear , All orig. and everything works , starts right up and runs great , It has dual exhaust , new rear brake lines , New carb and tune up , Ford alum. wheels , needs a few things but what old truck dont , he also gave me 2 complete doors and a set of stainless fomoco mirrors he was goint to throw away ,
Was it originally a 3 speed column shift? I have always like that better than a floor shift. I wonder if the 390 was original to the truck. Can you post the vin number and data plate? I for one am always interested in what these old trucks left the factory with, than see just what all has been changed though out her life.
It has a 360 2 bar. in it and yes it was a column shift orig. , it does have a Hurst Indy in it and shifts better than my other 3 on the tree so ill leave that alone - dont touch it if not broke - I will get a pic of the data plate and more after clean up.
