After reading some of the threads. I can't be the only one that enjoys an adult beverage or three, before they post something stupid or helpful on this site. Just an observation.
Ah yes, the (in)famous "Drunk posting". Not something I'm known for, as I rarely drink anything stronger than coffee or soda, but I have known of many who made a habit of the DP practice.......
Yes, lots of us have done that and ended up in trouble on here. I quit drinking a while ago so it's no issue anymore with me but what I ended up doing was to just stay out of the forums when I had too many.
When I was a drinker I made the mistake and stopped by the Offroad and 4X4 forum and had a nice discussion with one of those ....insert colorful metaphor.... and then posted a pic giving directions on how to get where I told him to go.
It was a harmless pic of 2 actual individual road signs, it is the intersection of Hwy's F & U in southweastern Mo, and yes it gets stolen all the time.
We had a my truck is badder than yours bla bla bla and I did not back down from the guy. No trouble, but the pic was gone off there next day.
So now I haven't drank in over a year (I quit on my own NOT because that incident) and try to never go in that forum, to bad so few can ruin it for the rest.
IMO being drunk and posting on FTEing it is a bad idea......but sometimes its funny as a lab rat with polio. LMAO
I might have an adult beverage or 3,,, but like a DUI,,, I just prefer TO NOT TO,, I might have posted buzzing a tad,,, but that is usually when I head for bed fred!
