ok for awhile now this site has been almost useless for me because noone responds to any questions i was just wonderin if i'm asking questions no one can answer or if i have been "blacklisted" or what?

 

If I know the answer to a question, I will answer it. I will not respond with a wild guess just to make a post.

Possibly, I haven't seen your post, or don't know the answer.

So tell us what forum you posted in (& subject), so we take can take a stab at your question.

Also, If you're blacklisted, you wouldn't be able to post at all.

OK, I looked at a few of your posts from the last month.

"and there the tranny went"- was more of a rant then an actual question, maybe that's why no one said anything.

The bronco II engine question IMO was fairly unclear for some. Don't take this the wrong way but maybe you should clean up your posts and take a little longer to write them. The more clear and concise the question is, the better response you will have. I always try to assume that my reader has no idea what I'm talking about, so I put in any kind of detail I can think of. It's hard to not fall into computer slang either, but try to stay out of it. I don't have perfect grammar, I don't watch the little things but I try to make mine logical and understandable.


The post about "I've decided to keep the ol ford for now" started off as you simply stating that your truck runs much better now because of the fixed tranny, and then you just kind of threw in a question in the end about modifications. A post by itself about modifications would generate more responses IMO, but the question you asked is a very common and general one around here. My suggestion is to look at a few previous posts and put the search feature of the site into use. You might find more information that way.

The post about tranny woes was kind of a rant too, with no clear attempt at a real question aimming at a response.

Yeah, I would say 99% of the guys on this list love to help the others out. Just look at the posting numbers on some of them. Some guys have posted thousands of times, I am pretty sure they didn't have thousands of questions, more likely they were helping out.

Please do post to the appropriate forum, and make it clear you have a question. There are way too many posts for us to read all of them so we have to see something that catches the eye and holds our interest. Put a quick description in the subject line.

The guys are all helpful and won't let you down. But don't be shy and do be clear when you need some help. I have been helped more times than the other way around. You have hundreds of guys with incredible experience at your beck and call. All this for free. Try that at your local Ford Dealer.
