Starter replacement

Need some help, I have the 7.5 1993 f250 and need to replace the starter. The bottom bolt is easy enough to get to (even though I rounded it off) but the top one seems impossible. the bolt head is on the other side of the starter and my exhaust goes right under the starter so I can barely get a socket even on the bolt let alone get the bolt off. I have heard its a bear to get to, any tips to make this easier?
Any help is appreciated.

Use a socket extension.

X2 I have had to use a long extension and a universal joint to get to some of those bolts, especially if someone put an aftermarket exhaust in the way...
