ball joints
What is the easy way to check ball joints?and when do I stop pushing luck(if you will)with it?I ask because I took truck to tire, front end shop to get tire fixed.I asked if they could look at why rf tire looked a little tilted in at fender.I picked truck up he hands me a $1100 quote for ball joints.the only thing I see abnormal is at 72ish mph it has little vibration.any other speed its smooth. Thanks all

Jack the wheel about an inch off the ground. Have someone slide a crowbar under the tire and lift the tire up with the crowbar while you are under the truck feeling/looking for any movement at the upper and lower ball joint.
Just imagine the ball joint snapping off at 72 MPH.
