This is why Iv been trying to get a ScanGaugeII MAF X-Gauge
Id say replace MAF Sensor maybe you did IDK I didnnt read the whole thread
But if driveability concern got better with MAF unplugged then almost has to be part the PROBLEM IMO
You can ALSO Use a DVM to check the MAF sensor but make shure you are checking righr pins as the IAT1 sensor is in the Same sensor
good luck with it
replaced mas and drives ALOT better but i still have the turbo code and once and only once since then has it not wanted to boost above 4 PSI. I restart the truck and it runs like a champ... Clean tubro maybe the silinoid also?

so it runs like a Top now But still has the P2263 DTC and wouldnt Boost over 4psi 1 time
If it had a Leak or dirty turbo vein issue that would be a constant problem and wouldnt go away by simply turning truck off and restarting it so I dont think its a leak or dirty turbo
due to the Fact that you could turn off truck and restart it and returns to Normal operation makes me think a sensor is whacked out

Make sure the MAP sensor hose does not have a leak or is plugged up. Then it may be time to replace the VGT solenoid (borrowing a known good one is always a GREAT idea!).

Especially since the VGT solenoid is very pricey, you would want to verify that it is needed before you go out and buy one.
