Well i'm hoping someone can help me out. A few weeks ago i ordered a new Hellwig rear sway bar and just today had a chance to try and install it. I had a gentlemen helping me and we noticed none of the bushings were supplied for the install. Next issue is the brake line seems to run in place where it needs to be mounted to the axle. Man what a mess has anyone else had these issues? Feeling i made a bad mistake in going with Hellwig. By the way we called Hellwig and were told they would ship the bushings which was ok but as far as the install we were told bend the brake lines out of the way. What the heck is that all about? I'm not sure i will be bending something so important to the trucks performance and safety concerns. Any thoughts?
Do you have a short or long bed? If you install it when you get the bushings let us know how it works. Which bar did you get? (part #). Sometimes you have to mod when you mod. The brake line issue does'nt surprise me since the trucks don't come with rear sways. This should not be a big deal just be careful and make it neat, secure, and unchaffable.

If you have the camper package, as I do, you do have a rear sway/stabilizer bar. I was under the same impression as you until I actually read what a camper package included. Now, if you are calling the sway bar something different, then I understand, but as I have always understood it, stabilizer and/or sway bars are interchangeable terms.
Yes a friend of mine bought his 08 new. Believe it or not he doesn't have the camper package but has rear sway bar. I thought he told me it mention 160 bucks on window sticker for it. B
