Last week I took the family to Daytona Beach, Fl. My weight for the trip full of fuel and ready to get down the road was 23,320 lbs.
I fueled up exclusively at Pilot and Flying J stations for the RV Customer discount except for one stop in Savannah, Ga when I got 5% bio at a Shell station. The result was the same with the truck going into regen once back on the interstate up to speed and at operating temp. Each regen lasted anywhere from 9-15 miles. The one bio fuel fill up lasted 10 miles, and is the only time I've used it. I thought bio fuel would be the longest regen cycle, but it was comparable to the othe fill ups.
I was satisfied with the trucks performance throuout the trip. It never hesitated to maintain speed or pass a slow moving vehicle. My round trip was 1,771 miles, and 9.069 mpg with the cruise set at 65 mph. I think it's pretty good.
