Ford's ATF is synthetic. The biggest thing is their tranny fluid is proven already. Why take a chance? It's cheap insurance in my mind.

As to your powermax with turbine diverter valve, your adding more moving parts to something that already has quite a bit of moving parts. It should work, but I can see if it were to go bad, it could go bad.

I'm partial to my Non-VGT 64mm.

So, Here is what i have done so far... I have all the cab bolts out also but I didn't take pictures of every bolt hole. kind of redundant... All i have to do now is jack the cab up enough to get my homemade cradle under it to lift it. I will post pics of that also I can't wait to get this done!

Alright i have EVERYTHING disconnected.. i am nervous as hell about lifting the cab but nonetheless i have to get started.

By any chance, does anyone have an approximate or exact weight for the crew cab's actual cab? If i knew i wouldn't be quite so nervous. I am scared of the unknown!

Success!! and with no issues other than i forgot the ground strap behind the block but that was no biggie i found it before it even got tight
I have one question though, If a snap to connect fitting has a little play in it does it mean it's bad?

Down to the heads, i am surprised at how good everything looks inside, I had a couple valves that weren't sealing good. I lapped them and now they are seating properly, i will take pictures of me lapping them just for kicks and giggles. the pistons are mint with no pitting marks or excess wear. I am ecstatic! lol I am replacing the valve stem seals also on each valve even though the others were okay, cheap insurance.

Did you mean to post a pic, because I don't see one. Post a pic and I'm sure we can help you out.

I can see them.

Scotty, the pics are hosted on photobucket, you might want to check and see if your browser has it blocked.
