Just want to say to all the techs on here and anyone that leans over one of these trucks day after day , you are the MAN . I have done oil cooler and egr delete ,had turbo off for up pipe replacement and off again for cleaning and also did an injector last summer . I'am slow when i work so i have many hours bent over standing on benches working on my truck. Today i started again chasing a possible HPOP leak or something ( truck won't run hot ) . But the one thing that came back to me real quick is it SUCKS working on these trucks. So again to all that do this for a living , you all are like super man to be able to do this day after day .
I agree, I think the biggest pain in the *** of all is the fact that they're so high up. Its so much nicer working on a car when you don't need to stand on a step ladder.
only reason IM still doing it is I havent found a way out that pays anything close to what I make.
so if any of you have any idea (other then pipe line) im game.
I most defiantly agree. The techs who work on these or on any ford diesel are very tough guys.
I did my own HG with cab on. Truck has 6" lift on 37" tires. Climbing in an out leaning over the motor allday long. OMG. My legs an my back hurt for the next 2 weeks.
My hat goes off to you guys who do this everyday. You earn an are worth every penny you get paid.
