HORN

My Horn is inop! Went to purchase another one from Obselete Ford in Nashville , Ga and it looks the same but the mounting point is different! Called Dennis Carpenter and they have them in the book but it doesn't show the mounting point or the mount. I just had to ask the salesman a ? and that was if he could see what the back looks like and he made the statement, "that is located in another building", therefore requiring him to do some walking! Sometimes I wondering if people like making $, or they just want to seat on their buns!!!

You're mad because the people you didn't buy it from won't walk to another building and get one to look at and answer your question? Hmmm

Two horns here.

The high-note second horn was optional on many trucks. The base truck got a low-note only but often the wires for the other were there.

The high and low pitched horns are the same 1958/72 all FoMoCo vehicles except Lincoln/Mark/Thunderbird with triple horns.

Ford changed the horns in 1973, have a different mounting bracket.
