1952 ford truck horn

What does the 1952 horn look like and where does it mount?

Should be the same as my 51. They are mounted on the side of the hood. Here is a picture I found on line. Most just had one on the PS. 5 Star Deluxe had both.

Horn should have two mounting brackets. My truck has one horn and it was mounted on the right hand side.

Ok so I found a set of working original horns.

I am am going to need 8 clips, part 356687-s for the horn connecting wire and the headlamp crossover wire. Does anyone have a picture of one so that I know what I am looking for?

The sound of the dual horns is one of my favorite memories of our truck!

I'm fairly certain the '51 & '52 HL Crossover are the same part #. I just completed replacing the original. It's ~$19 through earlyford.com. The part # to the horn from the horn relay is shown in one of the pictures below. Here are pictures:

I have one trumpet horn, but it's not installed yet. Will push a photo over once it is done.

I believe the clip on the left is the one used for the horn wire.

Henry, you remember Henry. The truck that I took to my buddy back in October to have the front end done. Well, he has a single horn on the passenger side. It is now 12 volt and I cannot wait to get him back and pull up behind some ********* that is texting. I hit the horn and if I am lucky, the dumb ******* will have a coronary! In case you haven't heard what a 6 volt horn sounds like when hooked to 12 volt, you are missing something.

Later!

After a bit of introspection I surmise my reading for comprehension skills are in need of refinement. The question was about the clips, and not the wire set up.

Humble apologies

Thanks, how does it attach to the hood? What type of fasteners should be used?

I used 3 of the "S" hooks to hold the wire to the hood stiffener.

How about the horn, how does the horn(s) attach the hood, does anyone have a close up of that?
