Stupid distributor clamp question!?

Stupid distributor clamp question!?
I have a '56 F100 with a "57 312 stuffed in the engine compartment. The distributor needs rebuilding but I can't reach the bolt at the base of the distributor to loosen it. Short of hiring Elastic man or removing the engine does anyone have any suggestions on how to loosen that bolt? I can't seem to get at it from above, do I reach around from underneath or is that absurd.

There is a lot of accelerator linkage stuff attached to the carb on that side, I might need to take some of that off to get my hand in there but that side gives me the best visual. Thanks.

Thanks for the information, I got a distributor wrench designed for my engine for $14 and it works perfectly. Now all I need to do is get the 60 years of grit cleaned off so I can pull the thing out!
