I've been listening to the Blues Brother's sndtrk a lot lately. He pretty much makes the covers all come alive & gives the whole thing its stand alone quality.

In thinking about Levon Helm (RIP), if you get a chance to see a fairly unknown movie called "In The Electric Mist" with Tommy Lee Jones, (Based on a "Dave Robicheaux" novel by James Lee Burke) you should do so. Levon plays CSA Texan General John Bell Hood. (or his ghost, if you will) His short appearances are worth the time spent on the rest of the movie. (Which ain't terribly bad.)
