Signature Lines

I went to edit my signature, and suddenly I get this bs post about "you can't have more than 6 lines" or some crap like that. What the hell? I had to remove everything in my signature to get it through.

Those that have more than 6 lines, don't edit your signature, you won't be able to get it back!!!

And, I would like more lines please...

It kind of sucks when your sig is bigger than your message.

They changed that a few months ago..

You are limited to 6 lines and a blank line counts as one..

I feel that this is a form of oppression. My signature is a form of expression! It's how I share bits of myself with everyone in the community! What I take pride in, what I like, what amuses me. I think they should go back to 12 line and just smack people who get carried away. I know it's a big responsibility, lots of abuse to be handed out. I personally will volunteer for the job should other mods not wish to take it on.

I would just like to HAVE a signature. All I want is ONE line with a link to my CarDomain. Do I have to be a supporting OR PAYING member to do that? I don't see anything in my "user CP" about editing or adding a signature.

You should get one pretty soon.. You need 25 posts before it gets activated..

I see you have 29... Give it a couple days..

Please tell me you're being facetious?

Two lines is good for me. If you feel the need to espress youself, do it in a post. Not in a sig that goes everywhere with you. I really hate big sigs.

Now how do I add a picture to my signature? I add the picture, but it doesn't show up.

If you ever come up to my homestead, and I don't allow you to smoke in the house or drink milk straight out of the jug, please understand that I'm not 'oppressing' you......I'm just demanding that you play by the house rules.

And then it sucks even more when someone has half a dozen posts on the same page and all you see is the sig repeated over and over again. Like was suggested earlier - what should be important is what you have to say in the post.

Maybe people with six line signatures could have the courtesy to unclick the "Show your signature" box below after your first post in a thread so you won't clutter up the screen so badly....

be careful about clicking on his sig link...norton warns of a worm and a virus. Don't know if there's anything to it...just reporting on what norton warned me of.
