'92 4.9 Rough Idle - Help
After my truck warms up, and I shut it off and restart it, sometimes it will idle very rough, almost as if a plug wire was off. However, if I shut it off and restart it again, the idle returns to normal. What does this indicate? Thanks for any help!

Umm check the Intake gasket and egr valve... Inside there is a valve that controls the amount of exaust gas that enters the engine for warm up... If it is jammed open like I suspect then it would have a funky Idle
and if you shut it off it makes the vacumm go away in turn closing it when you start it again.... check er out
