Too many condensers?

Hello, I'm new to this forum, and already need some advice.. Lol.. I'm getting ready to do a tune up on my 1968 F-250, and I'm noticing what looks like a condenser on the coil. There is also a condenser on the inside of the distributor, for the points.

I was wondering if this is correct, or if this is something I need to change. I've always seen just one condenser and was a little puzzled about this. The engine is a 391 stock two barrel, no mods, except for the emissions being plugged, and it has a different air filter. Any help would be great thanks..

The one on the coil is to reduce noise. You can take it off and do away with it if you want.

Too many condensers..

Thank you..

I was worried about it frying my points, I was unfamiliar with seeing the two condensers on there.

As long as it's a normal thing, I won't mess with it.
