Hey guys, ive got a 91 350 and im about to put a banks sidewinder turbo kit on it and id like to get a pillar gauge pod to mount the gauges in. I'm finding alot of full pillars for a 92-97 truck and just small portions for the 91's but it really doesnt look like a difference betweeen the 91 and the 92, so im just wondering if anyone knows exactly.
Thanks for the help!
The that part/shape of the a-pillar that meets the dash is different between the 87-91 and 92-96. An 97-96 Ford gauge pod will fit because it utilizes your existing a-pillar.
Yeah, that link helped Ranchero. the bottom of the trim piece seems to be bigger to match up with the bigger dash of the newer models. i think i'll order one and see how big the difference is at the bottom portion and if it doesnt want to work right or if doesnt look pretty good ill just take the jigsaw to it and cut the bottom portion off and use the rest.
