I have a 1994 F–150 302. I have replaced the tps, cap and rotor (msd) also (msd) street fighter coil. It finally would get spark and run. I just put a msd 6la ignition box on it have it all wired up correctly and now it has no spark. I unplugged the 6la box at the tfi conection and hooked it back up just like it was from the factory. And still nothing. I hear the pcm click when I turn the key on fuel pump works just fine. I have no clue to what it is I need to do now.
I was doing some more reading on this... Im going to replace the igintion control mod. See if that fixes it its only $43 and if it doesnt work then back to square one.

Did you test for bat juice to the coil first?
If it's not getting power key in "start" and "run" positions? a new coil won't help.
Check for power first, don't just throw parts at it in hopes of hitting the cause of the problem.
You had spark, you did some electrical work, now you don't have spark. Check and re check your work, if the coil is found to be bad yea then replace it, prove it first.
I changed the coil the other day bc it wasnt wanting to start just crank and would hit once in a while but crank then finally start. The prong on the coil that was on there was so pitted I could see why it wasnt starting. Changed it and worked perfect, I did re check all my wiring several times after I installed the ignition box. When I get off work ill be putting the volt meter on there to see if im getting power to the coil, im pretty sure its the ignition control mod. That is bad, we will see in a few hrs when I get off work

The "module" you speak of is the "TFI" module? Mounted either on the distributor bowl, or remotely on the fender apron or firewall? Either way, the TFI gets it's crankshaft position and speed information from a "Hall Sensor" mounted inside the distributor bowl. Occasionally, the Hall Sensor becomes intermittent, or inoperative. If all else fails to reveal your trouble, look to the Hall Sensor. I know they are separately replaceable in the 4.9L distributor, and see no reason why 5.0L would be different. A quick check involves sticking a known GOOD distributor into the engine, and trying that. impish
Thats my next move putting a new distributor on. The ignition control module is the one mounted on the finder. I replaced the icm lastnight still nothing. New distributor will be going on here this week.
