Have my truck in signature making a very high pitched, annoying squeak from the front end. I believe it is coming from the right side because i just took the wheel off and it has a coating of brake dust on it (the 3 other wheels are clean). Only makes the noise when turning right at speed, and goes away when i straight it out or hit the brakes. Sorry if this is something simple but im not very good with brakes or the front end parts.. what could be causing this noise? Could the slide pins be frozen? i know that is a problem with these trucks... but not sure if these are the symptoms. Thanks

Make sure that the 2 V shaped springs are on top of the pads and engaged in the holes in the brake pad plate. If they are there and installed properly, then try this---Pull the pads on that side, and using a file or grinder, bevel the outside edge of the friction material on the brake pads. Sometimes, that sharp edge rubbing against the rotor will make a squeaking sound. When you turn while moving, the rotor will **** slightly, and if it hits that sharp edge of the pad just right, it will squeal.

He means like this.
Most pads (short of the basic pads from AutoZone and like stores) will be like this.
Ah ok, so on each side on the contact area. Thanks
No, If it is squealing, bevel the whole friction puck---not just the ends. The ends in most pads is beveled already, but the rest of the puck is not. Just a slight bevel---just file off the 90 degree edge.
Alright thanks ill have to try that when my new slide pins come in. Did the noise again today too, but only on one right hand turn out of about 20 minutes of driving.
Also, when i was coming to a stop from 35 mph, it was just a gradual/normal stop like always and right as i was almost at 0mph, the brake pedal kind of popped i guess. it felt like ABS although the roads were dry and there was nothing the wheels could have slipped on. But it felt exactly like ABS for a split second and the brake pedal popped twice
