In 179k miles that I have owned my X, my favorite tire is the Firestone Transforce A/T. First set of factory's(SteelTex) was replaced at 52k by Firestone during the big recall. that set lasted 60k. Then put on a set of BFG Rugged Trail's from a buddy's new F350. Lasted 40k. My new Transforce tires have almost 30k and have 1/2 tread remaining. I love the way they wear. No cupping on any of the Firestones. Good luck in your search.
